Natural characteristics of full-grain leather include marks of authenticity such as scars and brands, which lend a tremendous amount of character. With use, the leather will eventually develop a patina and may darken slightly, further enhancing the natural look and feel.
Mexican aniline leather is the most natural, soft, and highest quality of all leather types. It is generally more expensive because only the best raw hides are used.
This leather becomes more beautiful over time and will develop a natural patina. This leather starts very structured but becomes more malleable and supple with consistent usage. A natural characteristic of this leather is that it allows heat and natural oils from your body to be absorbed because there is no pigment or polyurethane coating which is typically used on lesser quality leathers. It is superior quality you can feel.
